  • Resident Services Assistants work under the Resident Services Coordinator, helping with activities that support spiritual growth and healing for patients. Full-time and part-time positions available. For volunteer openings, click here.

    Duties include:

    • Conducting Christian Science Bible lesson study for patients in a group setting.

    • Organi ing and running Christian Science Sunday church services and Wednesday testimony meetings (held in afternoons).

    • Providing light assistance to residents at mealtimes.

    • One-on-one activities with residents such as reading, writing, and Bible research.

    • Assisting with ongoing projects and volunteers.

    Paid positions may work evenings and/or weekends. Training is provided for use of video, sound systems, and computers. Contact us for a complete job description.

  • Assist Maintenance Director in repairs and maintenance of building and grounds. Proactively identifies repairs needs and maintains accurate records. Alternates weekend “on call” duties with Maintenance team.

    Duties include:

    • Assisting with repairs and maintenance of equipment and building;

    • Cleaning carpets, painting, waxing floors, etc.;

    • Supporting roof repairs, building modifications, and other large projects as able;

    • Following schedules as required by law and Maintenance Director.

    Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in all types of weather, and walk and bend for sustained periods of time. Contact us for a complete job description.

  • Prepare, cook, and serve all food daily from approved menu. Wash dishes and keep kitchen clean and orderly. Do shopping as requested. Help utilize food and supplies efficiently. Reports to the Food Services Director.

    Must be an excellent cook. Able to cook in large quantities while retaining quality of taste, texture, and appearance, with a special emphasis on patient/resident satisfaction. Working knowledge of commercial cooking equipment and proper food stuff storage, spoilage, etc. useful. Contact us for a complete job description.

  • Serve as aide to the Cook. Reports to the Food Services Director.

    Job dutie include:

    • Preparing drinks and trays of food for residents;

    • Clearing table and setting for the next meal;

    • Washing dishes and keeping kitchen clean and orderly;

    • Helping Cook utilize food and supplies efficiently.
