Continuing Education

Christian Science nurses listed in The Christian Science Journal are required to complete a minimum of four hours of qualified continuing education annually to retain their listings.

Some Christian Science nursing training organizations, including Glenmont, offer specific Continuing Education (CE) webinars, classes, and workshops throughout the year to assist Journal-listed Christian Science nurses in fulfilling this annual requirement.

All CE opportunities at Glenmont are designed to meet the necessary criteria to qualify for CE credit under the current rules established by the publishers (See Article 8, Section 31 of the Manual of The Mother Church). The webinars, classes, and workshops offered for CE will vary in topic and length. Depending upon the length of the specific educational offering, one to two hours of CE credit may be awarded each time.

Information regarding upcoming CE webinars will be posted on our website. In addition to these webinars, Glenmont regularly conducts qualifying classes and workshops for our staff throughout the year. Please contact Sandy Kincaid-Scott at (614) 876-0084 or skincaid-scott@glenmontcsn.com about classes and workshops.

Any Journal-listed Christian Science nurse in the field who is interested in CE is lovingly welcomed to participate in these offerings, too. Please contact the school directly to inquire about any CE opportunities currently being offered.
